According to the weather forecast of Bangladesh, the Cyclone Sidr just has attacked in the coastal area of Bangladesh. It has attached in the coastal area of Barisal division and Khulna division. The area I am living in Bangladesh now, it is so far form that area about 400 km. But I am feeling the effect of the cyclone because the wind is bowing strongly but it has raining a little bit from afternoon.
It is 10pm now. Nearly two hours ago one of my relatives called me by mobile form that area. He told me that the area was affected most and the wind was blowing strongly with heavy rain and the force is increasing time by time. His area is about 100 km away from the coastal area.
Especially, the people of the coastal area of Bangladesh take the cyclone (Sidr) a natural matter. I have found out an article on about Sidr that attacked in the coastal area of Bangladesh. The news has describes that storm and cyclones are nothing new for the people of Bangladesh. Every year, a number of cyclones hit the costal areas. So, the people here accustomed to severe storms. However, severe storms like Cyclone Sidr do not come every year. In fact, the last time a strong in the magnitude of Cyclone Sidr took place was in 1991 and more than 100,000 people died.
I have a real experience about the cyclone Harriken. It was 1988. I was a student in class five. It was the month of November. I know how terrible it is! Pray for us so that we could overcome this kind of natural calamity strongly.
